Jackson Economic Development Authority - The City of Jackson Economic Development Authority (EDA) is a public commission which focuses primarily on housing. The EDA has three (3) subdivisions in the City of Jackson, with lots available in each. Maps of the availalble lots can be found on the JCCMLS.COM residential listing page or by accessing the City of Jackson Housing webpage. The Jackson EDA also has several various programs available for down-payment and closing cost assistance, owner occupied housing fix up, and rental housing fix up. Click on the links below to access additional information about these programs.
Community Purchase Partnership Program (CPPP) - a program to help families become home owners in Jackson through closing cost assistance.
Owner Occupied Housing Fix Up Fund - The goal of this program is to improve the exterior physical appearance of homes within the City of Jackson and assist in energy cost savings.
Rental Housing Fix Up Fund - The goal of this program is to improve the livability of all homes within the City of Jackson and assist in energy cost savings.
Jackson Economic Development Corporation - The Jackson Economic Development Corporation (JEDC) is a private not for profit corporation. It is the mission of the JEDC to strengthen the local economy by bringing new businesses and industries to the Jackson area and help existing businesses prosper.
